FREE ALPHA LEGAL
Lighthouse Alpha Terms of Service
Version 2026-08-08-alpha-1 | Effective August 08, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Lighthouse PMT (Lighthouse). By creating an account or using Lighthouse, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice.
Lighthouse is a free Alpha product being developed with early users. Alpha software is unfinished and carries a higher risk of errors, interruptions, feature changes, and data loss.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms. If you register for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to create its workspace and accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Accounts and workspace responsibility
You are responsible for accurate registration information, protecting account credentials, controlling access to your workspace, and activity performed through your account. Notify Lighthouse promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Lighthouse only for lawful purposes.
- Do not interfere with, probe, overload, or bypass Lighthouse security or access controls.
- Do not upload malicious code or content that violates law or another person's rights.
- Do not use Lighthouse to impersonate others, send spam, or operate an unlawful service.
- Do not attempt to access another Lighthouse Client workspace without authorization.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of information and content you submit. You grant Lighthouse a limited license to host, copy, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the right to submit the content and for the decisions you make from it.
5. Sensitive and regulated information
During Alpha, do not store passwords, authentication secrets, payment-card data, protected health information, export-controlled data, or other regulated or highly sensitive information in Lighthouse. Lighthouse is not offered as a compliance-certified system for those data types.
6. Alpha availability and changes
Lighthouse may change, suspend, stop working, or remove features without notice. No uptime, performance, compatibility, recovery, or continued-availability commitment is made during Alpha. Access may be limited or suspended for security, maintenance, abuse, legal, or operational reasons.
7. Data retention and backups
Permanent retention, backup recovery, and restoration are not guaranteed. Do not use Lighthouse as the only copy of information you cannot afford to lose. Keep independent exports or backups. Alpha data may be deleted because of defects, maintenance, account closure, service changes, or discontinuation.
8. Free Alpha and future offerings
Lighthouse is currently provided without a subscription charge. A future paid offering may require separate terms and an explicit choice. Registration for the free Alpha does not authorize automatic billing.
9. Support and feedback
Support is best-effort. There is no help hotline, guaranteed response time, or priority support. If you provide suggestions, bug reports, or feature ideas, you allow Lighthouse to use them without restriction or payment, while you retain ownership of any underlying material you already own.
10. Third-party services
Lighthouse may connect with third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Lighthouse is not responsible for third-party availability, changes, or data handling.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lighthouse is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or data preservation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lighthouse and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business interruption. Aggregate liability arising from Lighthouse will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Lighthouse during the preceding 12 months or 100 US dollars.
13. Ending use
You may stop using Lighthouse at any time. Lighthouse may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms, security risk, legal requirement, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the Alpha. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
14. Changes to these Terms
Each published version has an identifier and effective date. Material changes will be published as a new version. A future workflow may require acceptance of a newer version before continued use; this Alpha release does not retroactively block existing users.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
